ZOOGABOOG! vs Thryv: You operate the software, or we do the work
Thryv's $99 a month plan is a dashboard: you learn it, you run it, you post the posts yourself. Want an actual person to do that instead? On Thryv, that is a paid add-on called a Boost, only on the higher tiers, and priced by a phone call. ZOOGABOOG! skips the ladder: every plan already comes with a person who designs, prints, and builds for you, at a price you can read before you dial anything.
The short answer
Thryv is real software. $99 a month buys a self-serve dashboard for CRM, scheduling, and invoicing. $399 a month buys the tier where a human-run marketing Boost becomes available, priced by a sales call, not published anywhere. ZOOGABOOG! is people. Every plan, from a $300 website to a $250 a month care plan, already includes someone doing the design, print, and marketing work, month to month, no contract. Pick Thryv to run the software yourself. Pick ZOOGABOOG! to have a person do it instead.
Last verified August 22, 2026. Thryv's $99 and $399 prices are from thryv.com/pricing. Boosts add-on pricing is not published anywhere on their site.

"Locked in until 2027."
That is real language from Thryv complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau, some as recent as July 2026, describing annual plans that auto-renewed for another two-year term. ZOOGABOOG! has no term to renew, and leaving takes an email, not an argument.
Cancel Thryv, and your website goes down with it.
Thryv's own cancellation FAQ says your account, including "your Thryv website," gets taken down when you leave, with content saved only if you reactivate within 60 business days (learn.thryv.com, checked August 2026). Every file we build you stays yours, even the day you cancel.
"I wanted a person, not a dashboard. Turns out the person costs extra, and nobody would say how much."
On Thryv's own site, a done-for-you Boost only unlocks on the $399 a month plan and up, and the price is not listed, you call and ask (thryv.com/boosts, checked August 2026). Every ZOOGABOOG! plan already comes with a person, at a price already sitting on this page.
What's the real difference between Thryv and ZOOGABOOG!?
The real difference is who does the work. Thryv hands you software and you drive it. ZOOGABOOG! hands you people who drive it for you. Thryv's numbers below come from thryv.com/pricing and thryv.com/boosts, both checked live on August 22, 2026. If you find an older guide quoting different numbers, that is why. Their lineup changed this year. Ours are all on one page: our full price list.

Every ZOOGABOOG price is on the page, including the custom work, and Research.com's 2026 review). | Every product | Two tiers listed, top tier quoted |

When is Thryv actually the right call?
Buy Thryv if your real problem is that you keep missing appointments, losing track of who owes you money, and juggling three different phones for customer texts. That is exactly what Thryv's CRM, scheduling, and invoicing tools are built for, and reviewers like them, Research.com scored the platform 4.6 out of 5 in an August 2026 review. We do not build customer management software, and we are not going to start. Go get the real thing.
Buy Thryv if you or someone on your team genuinely enjoys learning new software, has real hours to spend on setup, and wants scheduling, invoicing, and marketing under one login. Their $399 a month Signature plan unlocks a paid Boosts add-on, a Thryv specialist who can run your ads, social, or website inside their platform (thryv.com/boosts, checked August 2026). The same logic applies if you are weighing how ZOOGABOOG! compares to Hibu or how we compare to LocalIQ, two other contract based marketing suites doing a similar job. If having it all in one system matters more to you than knowing the price up front, that is a legitimate reason to choose any of them over us.
And if the trade you are making is an annual commitment for a lower rate, Thryv's pricing page currently offers 15% off for paying yearly (thryv.com/pricing, checked August 2026), a real trade of flexibility for savings if a longer commitment does not worry you. We do not make that trade. We have no CRM, no scheduling software, no invoicing tool, and no plans to build one. If that gap is the actual reason you are on this page, close the tab and go sign up with Thryv. We mean that.
Worth a look either way: a free 30 minute LiveDesign session or what a small business website actually costs.
Where we actually win
You do not want a second job. Thryv gives you tools. We give you outcomes. You tell us what you need, and a human designs your logo, builds your site, prints your signs, and keeps your marketing moving.
You can see the bill before you agree to it. Our website pricing is $300, $1,500, or $3,500, our logos run about $300, and monthly care plans go from $25 to $250. No quote call, no mystery.
You can leave whenever you want. No annual contract, no early termination clause, no awkward phone call. Cancel any month. We think you will stay because the work is good, not because a contract says you must.
Everything matches. Your free Brand Kit applies your colors, fonts, and logo across your website, business cards, signs, and shirts. One brand, everywhere, without you managing it.
Which one is actually right for you?
Both are legitimate. They just do different jobs, so pick based on which one you actually want done. Still narrowing it down? how ZOOGABOOG! compares to Hibu, or how we compare to LocalIQ.
Choose Thryv if
- You want CRM, scheduling, and invoicing under one login, and you are the one who is going to run it day to day.
- You are fine paying $399 a month or more and calling a sales rep to find out what the top tier and the Boosts add-ons actually cost.
- You are willing to commit to a longer term for the 15% annual discount, and you are confident you will still want this a year from now.
Choose ZOOGABOOG! if
- You want a person doing the design, print, and marketing work, not a dashboard teaching you to do it yourself.
- You want to see every price first, $300 to $3,500 for a website, $25 to $250 a month for ongoing care, before you talk to anyone.
- You want to leave whenever you decide to leave: no annual term, no early termination clause, no phone call required.
