Speed (25 points)
How long your homepage takes on a phone, from Google's own mobile speed test when it answers, and our own measurement when it does not.
Phones (15 points)
Whether the page fits a phone screen, and whether Google finds the text big enough to read.
Trust (20 points)
The padlock, your certificate, your phone and address on the page, whether your email is protected from people faking it, and when your domain name is due for renewal.
Getting found (25 points)
Titles, descriptions, headings, and the details Google needs to list you properly.
Getting customers (15 points)
Whether a ready-to-buy visitor can call you, message you, or knows what to do next.
Your Google listing, how you compare nearby, and the ChatGPT answer are extras in your free report. They are never part of your score.
How fast is your website?
Speed is the single biggest thing most small business sites get wrong, so it is worth a quarter of the whole score. The checkup above measures it two ways: what your server did when we knocked (how quickly it answered, and how heavy the page is), then Google's own mobile speed test, which runs while you watch the checklist.
A slow site does not announce itself. Nobody calls to say they gave up waiting. They just go back to the search results and pick somebody else, and you never hear about it.
If it comes back rough, the fix is usually a lighter site rather than a long list of tweaks, and that is what we build.
Straight answers
Is the website checkup really free?
Yes. No card, no account, nothing to buy. You get your score on the page, and the full report opens as soon as you leave your email, with a copy in your inbox.
Is a person checking my site, or a computer?
The checks and the score are automatic, which is how you get them in about a minute. We use AI the way we use every other tool in the shop, when it makes the work better or faster, and not when it doesn't. Here it helps put the explanations into plain English; it never decides your score. If you want a person to walk you through it, call us and we will.
What do you do with my email address?
We email you a copy of your report. After that, we only follow up if you ask us to: tick a box for a few tips or a monthly re-check, or leave a phone number for a call back. We never sell or share it.
What if you cannot reach my site, or I do not have one yet?
If your site does not answer we tell you plainly and suggest a quick way to check it yourself. If your site's security turns our checker away, we say that too: your customers are not affected, and we do not score it. No website yet is fine too. Call us and we will talk through your options.
