Getting Found and Growing

The marketing side: getting found, looking legit, and keeping customers coming back.

I have no website. Where do I start?

Start with the two things that decide whether a stranger can find you and believe you: a website and your Google listing. The site is the address you own, the one that answers questions at eleven at night. The listing is what pops up when somebody nearby pulls out a phone and searches for what you do.
Get those two right and everything else you print, post or mail has somewhere solid to point. Website Design and Build and Get Found on Search and AI are both in the catalog, and prices are on /pricing. Not sure which one comes first for your situation? Ask us and we will look at it with you.

How do I get more Google reviews?

Ask, and make asking easy. The Review Booster in your free Toolbox builds a code that sends a happy customer straight to your review page. Put it on the counter, the receipt, the invoice, the back of your card. That part costs nothing, it comes with the free account.
If you would rather the asking happen without you thinking about it, Reviews and Reputation is the monthly service: requests go out automatically, new reviews get watched across your listings, and replies get drafted for you to approve. Prices are on /pricing.

Should I do social media or ads?

Usually neither one first, and that is us talking you *out* of spending money today. Social and ads both do the same job: they send people somewhere. If that somewhere is a thin website and a stale Google listing, you are paying to walk strangers up to a locked door.
Fix the door first. Once the people who look you up like what they find, social keeps you in front of them and ads go buy you more customers. We run both, and the plans are on /pricing whenever you are ready for that round.

What should a new business do first?

In this order, and there is a reason for the order:

A logo, so everything after it matches.
Your Google Business Profile, so people nearby can find you at all.
A website, so they can check you out on their own time.
Business cards, so you have something to hand the first person who asks.

That is the first lap. Social, ads, mail, shirts, signs, all of that is round two, and every bit of it works better once the first four are done. Prices are on /pricing.

How do I know if my marketing is working?

You get a report, in plain English, every month. Every monthly service we run comes with one: what we did, what moved, and what it means for your phone ringing.
Get Found reports on your map rankings, your calls, and whether the AI assistants name you when somebody asks who to call. Social reports on what went up and what people did with it. Ads reports on what the budget bought. The free Toolbox pitches in too, since a Smart QR code counts every scan, so the sign on your door stops being a guess. And if a month looks flat, we say so instead of dressing it up.

What is a Google Business Profile and do I need one?

It is the box that shows up on Google and on Maps with your name, hours, photos, phone number and reviews when somebody searches for what you do nearby. Yes, you need one, and it is free to have.
The catch is that it only pays you back if somebody keeps it fed: hours right, photos fresh, questions answered, reviews replied to. Run the free Google Profile Checkup in your Toolbox to see where yours stands right now. If you would rather never touch it again, Get Found on Search and AI is us running it for you every month. Prices are on /pricing.

Can you run my Facebook or Instagram?

Yep. Social Media Management is exactly that: we plan the posts, make the graphics in your colors, put them on a calendar you can see, and on the bigger plans we handle the replies and the DMs so nothing sits unanswered.
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X are the networks we work in. Plans and prices are on /pricing.

Do you do Google Ads?

We do. Ads Management covers Google, plus Facebook and Instagram, TikTok, Microsoft Bing, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Amazon. We build the campaigns, write the ads, and keep watching them so the budget lands where it works.
Your ad spend goes straight to the ad network, never marked up by us. Our management fee is on /pricing. If you are a home or local service business, ask about Local Leads Setup too, the pay per lead ads where you only pay when somebody actually contacts you.

Do you help with email or direct mail?

Both.
Email Marketing is us building the list, writing the sends, and setting up the automatic ones that do the quiet work: the welcome note, the win back, the nudge after somebody almost bought.
Direct mail is the Neighborhood Postcard Drop. You pick the streets, we design, print and mail the cards, and every card carries a QR code and a tracking number so you can see the calls it brought in. Drops are quoted by hand, so tell us the area and roughly how many homes. Everything else is priced on /pricing.

What does the marketing department actually do each month?

Depends what you have us on, but the shape never changes: somebody does the work, then somebody tells you the truth about it.
On Get Found that is your Google listing posted to and kept current, your listings fixed everywhere people search, review requests going out, and a report at the end. On social it is the posts made and put up. On ads it is the campaigns watched and adjusted. On content it is the articles written and published on your site.
Every one of them ends with a plain report you can actually read, because the only question worth asking is whether the work is bringing you more customers. That is the whole idea, friend. You get a marketing department without hiring one. ZOOGABOOG! 🥼
